Pella, Iowa-based Vermeer Corp., a manufacturer of grinders and chippers, has acquired the remaining interest in Wildcat Mfg. Co., a Freeman, S.D.-based manufacturer of trommel screens and compost turners. In 2007, Vermeer purchased an initial ownership stake in Wildcat and broadened its product distribution through the Wildcat dealer networks. The Wildcat brand name will remain in use, and the Wildcat manufacturing, sales and support staff will remain in Freeman, S.D. ...
