MRM Establishes National Collection Program

The Electronic Manufacturers Recycling Management Company (MRM), Minneapolis, has established a national infrastructure for electronics manufacturers to provide recycling opportunities for consumers. Beginning Jan. 15, MRM will provide collection services at 280 locations, with at least one location in every state. According to MRM, it expects to have at least 800 locations by 2011. "MRM is focused on enhancing the environmental sustainability of individual company brands and product offerings through convenient, environmentally sound and efficient recycling," said David Thompson, president of MRM, in a press release.
