NSWMA Applauds Obama Environmental Nominees

President-elect Obama’s nominees to lead the federal energy and environmental agencies sit well with the Washington-based National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). Lisa Jackson, commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, was selected to head the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Steven Chu, energy specialist and director of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, was chosen to be the next energy secretary.
