Advanced Disposal Acquires Trash Taxi Assets

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Advanced Disposal Services has completed its acquisition of the Florida assets of Trash Prince, which does business as Trash Taxi. Trash Taxi provides collection services to residents and businesses in Fort Meade, Fla., and throughout Polk, Pasco and Orange counties. “The asset purchase included the customer contracts, containers and nine trucks of Trash Taxi as well as a long-term lease of [Trash Taxi’s] office and maintenance facility … [in] Winter Haven, Fla.,” according to the press release announcing the deal. “Adding Trash Taxi and its employees to our solid ...
