Call2Recycle and corporate partners launch battery recycling campaign

Call2Recycle, a nonprofit rechargeable battery and cell phone collection program, has partnered with DeWALT, Lowe’s, RadioShack and Staples to launch MyCall2Recycle, an awareness campaign designed to educate consumers and businesses about the importance and ease of battery recycling. The group hopes to divert one million pounds of batteries from landfills between now and Oct. 1.
