Waste Management Landfill Produces LNG

A plant located at Waste Management’s Altamont Landfill near Livermore, Calif., has begun converting landfill gas into liquefied natural gas (LNG). The facility is operated by The Linde Group, an engineering firm, and the LNG will be used to fuel approximately 300 Waste Management collection trucks in California.
