Waste Services’ Net Income Rises, Revenue Declines

Burlington, Ontario, Canada-based Waste Services posted a net income of $6.7 million on $112.5 million in revenue during the third quarter of 2009. For the same period in 2008, the firm reported a net income of $3.5 million on $125.7 million in revenue. For the first nine months of 2009, Waste Services posted a net income of $14.1 million on $315.7 million in revenue.
